About STI Testing

This assessment uses the 7 Ps framework recommended by the CDC for sexual health history. It helps identify risk factors and provides personalized testing recommendations.

Who should get tested?
  • Sexually active people under 25 — annually for chlamydia/gonorrhea
  • Anyone with new or multiple partners
  • Anyone whose partner has had other partners
  • Anyone with symptoms (discharge, sores, pain, unusual bleeding)
  • Pregnant people — at first prenatal visit
  • Anyone who has never been tested

Remember: Many STIs have no symptoms. Regular testing is the only way to know your status. Most STIs are easily treatable when caught early.
