About STI Testing
This assessment uses the 7 Ps framework recommended by the CDC for sexual health history. It helps identify risk factors and provides personalized testing recommendations.
Who should get tested?
- Sexually active people under 25 — annually for chlamydia/gonorrhea
- Anyone with new or multiple partners
- Anyone whose partner has had other partners
- Anyone with symptoms (discharge, sores, pain, unusual bleeding)
- Pregnant people — at first prenatal visit
- Anyone who has never been tested
Remember: Many STIs have no symptoms. Regular testing is the only way to know your status. Most STIs are easily treatable when caught early.
